A two hour experience

More tea adventures! Before we left Chiang Mai we stopped at a Japanese tea shop near our hotel. What we thought was gonna be a quick stop turned into a 2hr experience. We got adorable ice cream, genmaicha, and hojicha roasted tea. The tea came with small pieces of kohakutou which is like a soft crystal candy and so delicious. And the icecream had a texture we've never had before; incredibly thick, creamy, and slow melting. Many years ago we had a genmaicha tea in the shop and we've been thinking of bringing it back and hojicha is our current favorite at home.

And for my Massachusetts people, don't worry. We're safe. We found the local Dunks ;)
